qian hongyan lost both her legs in an accident at only three years old in 2000. her family in china are poor and couldn't afford prosthetic legs, so she uses a basketball to help her move.
the girl's story is widely reported in the worldwide and experts from china rehabilition research center has come to qian's home to help her for rehabilitative treatment early 2005. qian now has a pair of proper prothetic legs, but still says she like to use the basketball from time to time. she aiways smiles,always being cheerful.
